The
Archbishop's Message
Jesus & Mary College is certainly a great boon to the young women of
today who can pursue college studies and get well equipped for life. The
college is well-known for its discipline and orderly functioning and has
attracted thousands of girls who have immensely benefited from the education
they have received in this institution.
I congratulate the Principal, the Staff, the Governing Body and all those
who in their own way have contributed to the smooth functioning of college
and its performance.
In particular, I would like to express my appreciation that the college
takes students from a cross-section of society, not confining themselves to
the elite class. This certainly gives the students an opportunity for
integration and to get to know one another and learn from one another. Value
education, particularly with regard to social values, that is being imparted
through various activities is bound to further reinforce the integration of
various social classes. Further the inter-religious programme that the
college organises certainly serves to foster mutual respect and appreciation
of various religions our country is blessed with.
I wish Jesus & Mary College all the best in its effort to be a relevant
and purposeful institution of higher education
